Protecting the Health of Colombian Orphans

Specific objectives

• Make sure that the 180 kids in temporary protection helped by CRAN every year can get quality medical care on time and often, such as doctor appointments, tests to diagnose illnesses, and lab exams if required, to fully care for their health needs.
• Provide kids in temporary care with the necessary meds to treat their medical issues, without any financial obstacles to accessing them.
• Enhance the nourishment, healthcare, and dental care they receive to promote wholesome living and prevent illnesses, ultimately contributing to their future physical and emotional health.

• PARTICIPANTS

180 children stay at the CRAN foundation every year while we work to help them regain their right to have a caring and loving family.

• METHODOLOGY

The organization has processes to oversee significant tasks, such as identifying needs, designing necessary changes with specifications, obtaining quotes for supplies, work and services, choosing suppliers and contractors, and monitoring results. It follows a procedure that involves a purchasing committee, a steering committee, and management approval. The organization acquires resources through resource mobilization.
