"Well-being and Mental Health"

At CRAN, we remain committed to restoring the rights of children and adolescents, and we continue working to protect them.
We have provided comprehensive therapy to 10 children with specific needs in psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
We have also carried out preventive work in oral health and hygiene. However, we’ve had to take several children to private dentists, which are more costly — approximately five children every 15 days.
We are also currently in the process of carrying out a vaccination campaign.
We definitely could not continue our commitment to children and their health without your support.
Once again, we sincerely thank you for your generous donations and hope to continue counting on you.
If you could also help us share this information, it would mean a great deal to us.
Thank you so much!

This project helps 180 children we care for and protect every year who display signs of physical and emotional abuse and live in environments with deprivation and neglect. These children face significant challenges in accessing comprehensive health care services and medication. The majority have never received specialized medical care. In this context, our project aims to guarantee that these kids can get top-notch healthcare, such as specialized medical services, tests, and the right kind of medication.
The health system in Colombia is in a crisis that has lasted a long time. It is characterized by unequal access to health services, especially for children. Despite numerous attempts to reorganize, the situation hasn't improved much. Children under temporary protection are especially affected, since the health plan only provides basic exams and medications. Child neglect is becoming more common in Colombia lately, and kids with temporary protection are not receiving appropriate healthcare services.
