Due to the pandemic that has affected the entire world, the health sector has been in a difficult situation as it has focused on solving Covid-19 related care needs. The subsidy system that covers children's health issues has had several restrictions so that urgent procedures are not a priority and dental and audiometry appointments are not available.
Thanks to the support and generosity of everyone, we have been able to guarantee priority and urgent attention by a dentist, who to date has attended 27 cases of children who come to CRAN with serious hygiene and oral health issues.
Most of the children, who come from Venezuela, arrive with oral health complications where many of them lose their teeth due to lack of hygiene which causes gingivitis and even more serious difficulties.
Your solidarity has allowed 35 children to take their audiometry exams and controls, which, like dentistry, was not possible to obtain through the subsidized network. Likewise, we were able to take the children directly to the specialists and we were able to give them the examinations and medicines they were prescribed.
Medical evaluations and examinations are also fundamental in the development process of our children. Precisely determining their health status is key to finding the best adoptive family that can guarantee their care. The assistance and follow-up of health treatments are possible thanks to the fact that there is always a caregiver available to accompany them in safe transportation.
Thank you very much!

¡Muchas gracias!
