Hello! A new family meeting is so exciting, that our photos are left crooked, out of focus and against the light. But anyway, we wanted to share this special and unique moment with you.
We want to thank you for your valuable contribution to our project, telling you about the strategy Restoring lives, we build a future in which we have been participating for more than a year.
This is a strategy led by the ICBF -Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, the government agency that regulates and supervises the adoption process in our country- to make visible children of priority adoption who are growing up in the protection system and to get them to recover their right to have a family. Children of priority adoption are older kids, groups of siblings or children who have some permanent health condition or disability.
Thus, we have been able to assess children from different cities and regions of Colombia, not only children who live with us in CRAN.
Of 22 children that we have assessed, 14 already have a family!! Four groups of 3 siblings each, a big girl and a child with a special health condition can now grow up with parents who will love and take care of them for life.
Many thanks from the heart for making our work possible!
Together we can achieve that no child grows up without a family in Colombia!

¡Hola! Es tanta la emoción cuando una nueva familia se encuentra, que las fotos nos quedan giradas, desenfocadas y a contraluz. Pero de todos modos, queríamos compartirles este momento especial y único.
Queremos agradecer tu valioso aporte a nuestro proyecto, contándote sobre la estrategia Restaurando vidas, construimos futuro en la que participamos desde hace más de un año.
Es una estrategia liderada por el ICBF -Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, la agencia del gobierno que regula y supervisa el proceso de adopciones en nuestro país- para hacer visibles a los niños de adopción prioritaria que se crecen en el sistema y lograr que recuperen su derecho a tener una familia. Los niños de adopción prioritaria son niños mayores, grupos de hermanos o que tienen alguna condición de salud permanente o discapacidad.
Así, hemos podido valorar niños de diferentes cuidades y regiones de Colombia, no solo niños que viven en CRAN.
De 22 niños que hemos valorado, ¡¡14 ya tienen una familia!! Cuatro grupos de 3 hermanos cada uno, una niña grande y un niño con un condición especial de salud podrán crecer ahora con unos papás que los amarán y cuidarán para toda la vida.
¡Muchas gracias de corazón por hacer posible nuestro trabajo!
¡Entre todos podemos lograr que en Colombia ningún niño crezca sin una familia!
