Bedding helps Visually challenged to sleep better
By Nasreen | Fundraising Team Leader
Indian Association for the Blind (lAB), based in South India is a well-known non-profit organization working to provide education, employment, training and rehabilitation for the visually challenged from rural areas. Late Mr.S.M.A.Jinnah, the visually challenged activist and a group of like-minded visually challenged people founded IAB in 1985. Since its inception, IAB has educated and rehabilitated more than 23,700 visually challenged children and youths mainly from rural areas. We have raised $1,604 through this drive. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who were all being a great support for a safe and better sleep. Through this, they can feel better, study better and thus perform better. They can concentrate on their studies and can perform well in their final exams. The main aim of this project is to raise funds for the noble cause. Silent deep Sleep, a gift which many feels hard to get. If we could be a reason for someone’s better to sleep, then it’s really an uncountable shower of blessing.
With the help of your contributions, we are now better on our way to purchase the much-needed equipment. The inner strength and self-respect of our beneficiaries are getting stronger every day. We know saying thank you will never be enough but it is our duty to let our donors know that they are the arm at the time we needed. We look forward to raising more for this cause. As always, we, along with GlobalGiving, will do our best in reaching out to generous donors across the Globe and will strive to bring happiness on the face of each of our beneficiaries.

The raffle through GlobalGiving made a huge success and we are now better on our way to purchase the much-needed care equipment. The inner strength and self-respect of our beneficiaries are getting stronger every day.
