Indian Association for the Blind (lAB), based in South India is a well-known non-profit organization working to provide education, employment, training and rehabilitation for the visually challenged from rural areas.
Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah, the visually challenged activist and a group of like-minded visually challenged people founded IAB in 1985. Since its inception, IAB has educated and rehabilitated more than 23,700 visually challenged children and youths mainly from rural areas.
The main aim of this project is to raise funds for the noble cause. Good deep Sleep, a gift which many feels hard to get. If we could be a reason for someone’s better sleep, then it’s really an uncountable shower of blessing.
The personal commitment of every philanthropist is incredibly helpful and allowed us to reach our goal. Their assistance means so much to us. This drive has helped us to raise the funds by $979 through 11 donations. For the past 1 year, our project received nothing but we would like to say thank you for those philanthropists who donated us so far from the bottom of our heart, but for them, our heart has no bottom.
The raffle through GlobalGiving made a huge success and we are now better on our way to purchase the much-needed care equipment. The inner strength and self-respect of our beneficiaries are getting stronger every day. We know saying thank you will never be enough but it is our duty to let our donors know that they are the arm at the time we needed.
We look forward to raising more for this cause. As always, we, along with GlobalGiving, will do our best in reaching out to generous donors across the Globe and will strive to bring happiness on the face of each of our beneficiaries.
