The lack of clean water isn't just a crisis; it's a barrier to education and a brighter future. Many schools in rural Indonesia, including East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), struggle with this challenge. Over 70% of the areas in NTT are facing a water crisis. Our initiative aims to provide sustainable solutions, starting with giving access to clean water impacting more than 140 schools and 26k+ students in East Indonesia. Join us to provide better access to clean water for schools across rural Indonesia.
Many rural Indonesia like East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is struggling with a water shortage, affecting many villages due to little rain and long dry seasons. Approximately 50-60% of 140+ schools in East Indonesia alone that we built hasn't running water. They either have to buy the water or rely on villagers. With many schools struggling to access clean water, students face daily challenges that hinder their learning and potential.
Our initiative aims to provide well drilling with water piping connected to the school's toilets to create a sustainable and reliable source of clean water, promoting not only better hygiene but also serving as a cornerstone for improved health outcomes within the school and the community at large.
This program aims to enhance education access by improving hygiene for rural Indonesian school students, ensuring they can continue their studies without being hindered by health concerns. With clean water access, also means the students also can have proper sanitary and toilets in their school in the future.
