Provide Education for 300 Children in Argentina

During the past few months, the children that attend our Educational Strengthening Program have had the opportunity of taking part in multiple new activities and projects. We believe quality education includes, not only knowing about subjects like language or math, but also learning about the culture, socializing, and having time to celebrate and enjoy childhood, as well as doing so in an environment of containment and constant support.

In the month of September, all of the kids that attend our Paleontology Workshop visited the Museum of Natural Science of La Plata, Buenos Aires. We spent an evening walking around the museum and enjoying the exhibitions, while also learning about dinosaurs and paleontology, which the kids were remarkably curious about.

On another note, thanks to our friends from HEXAGON, we were able to celebrate Children's Day at each of the locations of our Educational Programs and, in addition, we were able to buy more than 300 gifts for the girls and boys who attend the centers. We shared a beautiful day full of playful activities, reminding the kids about the importance of enjoying and celebrating every step that education brings along.

All of these activities and more, would not be possible without your constant support. We want to thank you for being part of this beautiful project.

Finally, after such a long time and such arduous work, over 250 children have been able to fully return to school. Our team has been able to open the Centers doors relatively easily and quickly for our community, following strict protocols to protect the kids and the educators. 

Because of the prolonged restrictions established by governmental authorities due to Covid-19, children lacked social interaction in a way we had never before experienced. Luckily, we have been able to put those years behindus and start a new beginning, attending to and prioritizing kids’ social needs.  

We have accompanied more than 250 girls and boys to return to school. Still, wehave also worked hard on planning activities stimulating their social intelligence, such as organizing recreational outings guided by our educators. To better prepare our team to face this new phase as effectively as possible, they received thorough training by Educar y Crecer. 

Three new Centers have been inaugurated (Ciudadela, Caseros and Villa Bosch). This guarantees better learning conditions and ensures greater access to education. We are working to support children in 8 different Educational Centers in Buenos Aires City.  

Our compromise was certainly not diminished by the effects of the pandemic. In fact, it is greater than ever. We aim to keep working towards providing children with the best education we can while also strengthening their social role at the same time.
