Respected Donor Namaste!!
A Story of Ramaiya....
I am Ramaiya (Name Changed) from the Bhopa Slum of Ajmer city. I am 42 years old and I live with my 5 children and a husband in a slum. We have a hut to live in and our children and we use to sing songs in occasions, festivals, parties etc in order to earn and sometimes we have to beg for living. Our children do not wear new clothes and we and our children do not celebrate any festival as we are busy in struggling for two times meal a day. We have to think so many times before buying anything except food because it is the most important thing for our survival. Our children are not able to celebrate festivals like to mainstream society children does.
This year at the time of festival of Lights, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan Came to our slum to celebrate festival of light with us and our children. They gathered all the children from our slum into lines while following social distancing and then started distributing new dresses like sherwaning, pyjama, kurta, lehnga, chunni etc. to our children. They also distributed food packets and sweet packets to every child and also gave shoes to every child. The slum children were very happy when they got all these materials and they started dancing with joy and fed each other the sweets. At the end of the program, RSKS India team members also gave them firecrackers to celebrate the festival of light.
These children from our slum area were never so happy as this year they also got a chance to celebrated festival like the mainstream society children celebrates. They also got a chance to feed each other sweets. They also got a chance to wear new fancy clothes instead of the tore dresses and fire up crackers to celebrated. The slum children also got to know about the importance of the festival and why it is celebrated. The darkness was surely lit up by the crackers that day. I thank RSKS team from bottom of my heart on behalf of my whole slum as they made this festival a memorable one for our children. I thank all the donors too as only because of them our children got moments of smile.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, RSKS India would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them.

A Story of Murli......!!
I am Murli (Name Changed) and I am 13 years old boy from a slum near Pushkar, Ajmer. I live with my father, mother and two younger siblings. I also go out to collect garbage to help my parents in household expenses. Children like me in the slum area do not have any clothes which are not torn because we wear clothes most of the time from the dustbin or somebody gives us used clothes which easily get torn due to the conditions in which we live. We do not have so much good hygiene practices because we do not have money to be hygienic always and what does hygienic in the garbage will make a change. Most of the children in our slum are malnourished due to not able to eat healthy food.
One day, RSKS team members came to our slum area and called every child at one place and made us sit while following the social distancing and then gave all the children a hygiene kit, a nutrition kit and a cotton t-shirt. I got so happy when I received all this as the slum children like me need these things the most. The RSKS team members then explained our mothers how to prepare this healthy nutritious food and then fed us the nutritious food at the same time. RSKS team members also told us about the good hygienic practices which we must follow to have better health.
Me and my friends from slum were stunned as no one like this came before who provided all the slum children something. We not only got one thing we got 3 things from RSKS India which contained many things in itself like the nutrition kit contained black gram, moong dal, soyabeans etc nutritious materials and the hygiene kit contained mug, big water bucket, hair oil, toothpaste, toothbrush etc hygienic materials. Now the children from our slum are having nutritious food to eat as well as hygiene kit to remain hygienic every day. We also got to know that why hygiene is necessary for better health and our mother got to know about how to cook nutritious food. We also get new dress to wear as well.
I thank RSKS India and donors for conducting such a wonderful program at our slum.

Mesmerizing Story Of Hemlata......!!
I am HemLata (Name Changed) I am 39 years old and I live in a slum nearby the city. I have 3 daughter and a son as children and a husband. We people living in the slums have to face many problems everyday as we do not have proper house to live, we live in huts. We have to hard work every day or beg every day or have to collect garbage every day in order to have two times meal a day. There is not much things we can do for our children except feeding them two times meal a day. Children living in slum also have to be stone like us in order to survive like us. The harsh winter breeze also tests all the children of the slum because we as parents do not have money to spend on the clothes otherwise, we have to sleep hungry for days.
One Day some people from Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan visited our place and came with few dresses. First, they told all the slum area people to call the children at a place where children can sit and then when all the children came, they told us all about themselves and the work they do and why there are here. Then they started distributing warm hand gloves, warm tracksuit and a warm cap to every child sitting over there and they told the importance of wearing warm clothes in the winter. After that distribution work, they also gave food packets to the children and then went away. After few days they came back again to take feedback from us about the work done in our slum.
We did not saw any such humanitarian work anywhere so we were very happy to see such kind of relief provided by RSKS Team members to our children. Now our children are also protected from the harsh winter as they are having warm tracksuits, warm hand gloves, warm cap to wear in the winter time. Also, from this relief the children falling sick always in the winter are not falling sick now and also these warm clothes look fantastic. RSKS India made our dream come true to see our children wearing new dresses. These warm dresses helped our children to fight the harsh winter and not fall sick. Me and my whole slum area people, thank RSKS India from bottom of our heart.
