Slum and street children are the one’s who live a life with whatever they have, they do not demand anything as they grow up because they know that their parents are doing everything they could do to provide two times meal to the family. These children wear torn out dresses which anyone gives to them or they themselves wear those from the garbage or from anywhere. The new dress is like a dream to these children as they do not get new dresses so often. RSKS India is working with more than 600 slum and street children to make their dreams come true and provide them the knowledge and moments of happiness which they do deserve through organizing many different activities from time to time.
In this context, RSKS India organized the Warm Tracksuit, Warm Cap, Shoes ,Warm Hand Gloves and food packets distribution program to the slum and street children. Through this program, more than 600 slum and street children from around 25 different slum and street locations were selected and were provided these new warm tracksuits, warm cap, Shoes and warm hand gloves so that they could also protect themselves from the harsh winter and would have the moments of happiness. These children were also told how to protect themselves from the harsh winter and always wear a proper dress while going out in the cold. At the end of the program, all the slum and street children were given food packets which contained cream rolls, swiss rolls, burger, chocolate, chips, ice cream, biscuit, Gajak, Peanut Chocolate, sweet etc. for the children.
Through this program, RSKS India was able to provide happiness to more than 600 slum and street children of more than 25 different locations. The slum and street children were dancing and singing when they got new dresses for themselves. These slum and street children are now able to protect themselves from the harsh winter and are able to protect themselves from many diseases caused due to cold. The slum and street children were also very happy as they got a chance to eat sweet and delicious food. These children also said that now they will always take care of wearing proper clothes while going out. The parents and the slum and street children thanked the RSKS India from bottom of their heart as they made their day by providing them the warm clothes to wear and delicious food to eat.
