Dear CAPEC ICT supporters,
We are happy to announce that we have purchased 10 new computers for our CAPEC ICT program. This has increased the number of pupils and teachers who now have access to our training program at school.
Our training will continue during this school period and after school closes at the end of May. This will enable more pupils and out of school youths to complete their course.
The students have indeed made significant strides! To date, 80 children are now computer literate. They can use a computer to write their own personal stories and experiences, and write letters. At least half of the children who are in class 6 have created their own email accounts.
We are happy to let you know that we have another group of volunteers who will be running the ICT program during holidays. Over the past three months, we have learned new programs from them.
Thanks so much for YOUR support! Because of YOU, our ICT program has provided more students with the essential equipment, training and exposure needed to help them learn basic computer skills.
We could not do this without YOU. Thank YOU!
Best Wishes,
Develop Africa team
