Dear CAPEC ICT supporters,
Our training continued during this school period until school closed the end of May. This enabled more pupils and out of school youths to complete their course.
Since our last report, 17 pupils sat for the Common Entrance exams and all passed as List 'A'.
In preparation for the close of the academic year 2014/2015, we were blessed with contributions of traditional attires from various countries for students to proudly wear during closing ceremonies on May 29th.
Students marched wearing their school uniforms and participated in the National Day Celebration on May 20th.
The students have indeed made significant strides becoming computer literate in word processing and email. We learned much about new programs from our group of volunteers.
Thanks so much for YOUR support! Because of YOU, our ICT program has provided more students with the essential equipment, training and exposure needed to help them learn basic computer skills.
We could not do this without YOU. Thank YOU!
Going forward, we have decided to phase out or deactivate this project. We have a similar project that helps provide educational support at the same school and we have decided that it would be better to combine both projects. Please note that we will continue to provide IT training. We welcome your on-going support through this project - Help Optimize Educational Opportunities - Cameroon.
Should you have any questions or suggestion, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Best Wishes,
Develop Africa Team
