Fund Source of Income for Wheelchair Users - Egypt

Dear Alhassan donors, supporters, and believers

At Alhassan Foundation, we do our best to overcome the various challenges that face the differently-abled individuals through our eight developmental projects. The “Source of Income” project focuses on the financial independence aspect in wheelers’ lives.

Our project helps not only the differently-abled individuals but also plays a major role in improving their entire families’ lives. To cover the different beneficiaries’’ needs and backgrounds, the project branches into three subprojects:

1-      Funding SMEs

2-      Occupational training

3-      Employment and networking

Through your donations in the past months, we were able to facilitate financial independence and physical independence solutions for many members of Alhassan Foundation through our projects. These projects not only change wheelers’ lives, but they also impact their entire family’s lives and improves their financial status.

Here is a wonderful story that shows the difference that Alhassan Foundation can make for wheelchair users.

Mohammad is a 37-year-old single man from Beheira Governorate,

He is paralyzed due to a car accident and became dependent on his family physically and financially.

Mohammad joined Alhassan Foundation last year, and all he wanted was a way to escape from being at home 24 hours a day.

Indeed, after attending one session for rehabilitation to raise his awareness, he decided to apply to the source of income project.

AlHassan Foundation funded a bookstore project for Mohammed, and he is now financially independent and helps his father with household expenses.

We are proud that Mohammed is finally able to become financially independent.

I would like to remind you all that without your support and your generosity, it would have been impossible for any of this to happen, or for that smile to be drawn on the face of this family.

Ataya, a 30-year-old female from the Behira governorate, As a result of a painful accident, she became paralyzed more than 21 years ago.

Unfortunately, as a result of her severe injury and her poor family, Ataya was unable to obtain any degree of education.

She joined AlHassan Foundation family in 2020. And a mini-market project was funded so that she could be financially independent.

We are proud that Ataya is finally able to become financially independent.
