The project is so far providing toys and food vouchers for 200 children with Nodding Sydrome in South Sudan. However the direct beneficiaries are 400 (250 Female and 150 Male). These children are thriving in poor and remote rural areas of Western Equatorial State and have compounded needs, coupled with low coping mechanism due to disruptive nature of diseases on their wellbeing and high levels of poverty of their families and communities. The playing toys are supporting these children to engage in healing recreational activities. Futhrermore, the twelve months food vouchers have allowed the children to access consistent and nutritious meals.
The project is also contributing to the well-being of these children with Nodding Syndrome by volunteering time and skills. Additionally, engaging in the volunteers in community outreach initiatives, educational campaigns, and providing valuable assistance to families/caregivers facing the challenges of this condition.Likewise, the project is making a difference in the lives of these children with Nodding Syndrome by advocating for their needs. Besides, raising awareness by sharing information about the condition on social media, initiating conversations, and motivating others to join the cause.
