Drug-resistant TB is one of the deadliest forms of tuberculosis and remains a growing threat in Nigeria, especially for people living in poverty. Many patients cannot afford diagnosis, treatment, or follow-up care. This project provides life-saving medication, clinical support, and community follow-up to help disadvantaged Nigerians recover and prevent further spread of drug-resistant TB.
Drug-resistant TB is difficult and costly to treat. Many Nigerians facing poverty lack access to proper diagnosis, medication, and long treatment cycles. Missed doses, stigma, and weak health systems make the disease harder to control. Without support, patients often become severely ill, spread infection, or face life-threatening complications. The need for accessible treatment is urgent. TB is the world's leading infectious disease killer, accounting for 1.5 million deaths each year.
This project provides free diagnosis, medication, and clinical care for drug-resistant TB patients who cannot afford treatment. We support transportation, follow-up visits, community health worker outreach, and adherence counseling. By removing financial barriers and offering continuous care, we help patients complete treatment, prevent transmission, and reduce TB deaths in vulnerable communities.
Your support ensures disadvantaged patients receive the treatment they need to survive drug-resistant TB. Every donation helps provide medication, testing, and follow-up care that protects families and stops the spread of infection. Your contribution brings hope to patients who would otherwise go without care and strengthens community health across Nigeria.
