Students succeeding thanks to your support.

By Maria Fernanda Franco | Development Director

We are thrilled to share an update on the profound impact your support is having on our students' futures through our Technology Program. In today’s interconnected world, digital literacy is no longer a luxury—it is an absolute necessity. Thanks to your generosity, we are actively leveling the playing field for our students by providing them with the high-quality tech education they deserve.

Inside the Tech Classroom

Our structured curriculum ensures that students are not just passive consumers of technology, but active creators. Every week, students engage in:

  • Computer Classes (1 period per week): Students master essential digital skills, ranging from keyboarding and navigating software to data management and internet safety.

  • Robotics Classes (1 period per week): This hands-on period brings STEM to life. Students design, build, and code robots, turning abstract mathematical and scientific concepts into tangible, physical realities.

More Than Screens: Skills for the Modern World

This program goes far beyond learning how to use a device. By integrating technology into their weekly routines, we are building our students' critical thinking, logic, and problem-solving abilities. They learn how to troubleshoot errors, collaborate on coding projects, and analyze data systematically.

Furthermore, we place a heavy emphasis on the responsible and ethical use of technology, teaching digital citizenship so students can navigate the online world safely and productively. By equipping them with these high-demand skills, we are preparing them to thrive in the modern digital economy, opening doors to future career paths in tech, engineering, and beyond.

Thank you for investing in these vital resources. You are giving our students the tools to code their own paths out of poverty and build a brighter, tech-forward future.
