Since the launch of Voices of Children's "Psychological Support for Ukrainian Families" project on GlobalGiving, our Kyiv center has been at the heart of impactful initiatives this summer, focused on aiding children affected by the war.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to you, our donors, for your unwavering support. Your generosity is the backbone of our mission, ensuring that no child faces the experience of war alone. Because of your support, we are able to continue providing essential psychological and psychosocial assistance to children and parents in Kyiv.

We are delighted to share that the initial donations we received from GlobalGiving have been used to cover the rent for our Kyiv center this August and contribute to the salary of our Kyiv center coordinator. This crucial funding has enabled us to continue our work and organize various impactful activities, including our highly successful one-day intensives!

These sessions provide children a safe environment to participate in art workshops, forge new friendships, and express themselves freely. They have become treasured opportunities for self-discovery, allowing children to explore their creativity and develop communication skills with their peers, all under the guidance of our dedicated psychologists. We are proud to see the positive impact these experiences have had this summer.

As we celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day on August 24th, we reflect on the deep meaning of Ukraine's freedom and the joy and well-being every child deserves. Nazar, an 11-year-old who comes to our center, captures this sentiment perfectly: "An independent person is a happy and free person."

Thank you for supporting our mission and enabling us to provide more children like Nazar with the opportunity to enjoy a happy childhood!
