This winter, your continued support created something steady and reliable in a time that often feels uncertain. Across January, February, and March, children and families returned again and again to our centers—not only for support, but for a sense of safety, routine, and care.

Your impact over the winter months:
975 children and parents reached
271 individual consultations provided to children
40 psychological group sessions delivered

Behind these numbers are real moments of connection, trust, and recovery.

January: A Gentle Start to the Year
In January, 274 children and parents visited our center. Children participated in structured psychological groups such as “Lighthouse” (ages 10–12) and “World of Emotions” (ages 6–8), where they began building emotional awareness and resilience.

The winter holidays became a time for deeper engagement. Through 17 extended winter intensives, children joined creative workshops, storytelling, acting classes, and film clubs—spaces where they could express themselves freely and reconnect with a sense of normal childhood.

Parents were also part of this process. In psychoeducational sessions, they explored family boundaries, responsibility, and how to support their children through difficult emotional experiences.

February: Strengthening Skills and Connection
In February, we welcomed 351 children and parents.
Support deepened through programs like “Voysik Club” and “Your Territory,” where children worked on managing anxiety, understanding stress, and building communication and empathy. Creative activities remained central—acting workshops, eco-clubs, and play-based sessions helped children process what they have lived through in a way that felt safe and natural.

At the same time, support for parents expanded. Alongside our ongoing “Parental Space” group, we launched “Motherhood from A to Z,” helping caregivers strengthen emotional regulation and better support their children during crisis.
Our teams also extended beyond the centers, holding psychological groups in communities across the Kyiv region.

March: Growing Trust and Participation
By March, 350 children and parents visited our center, with a notable increase in engagement:

  • 119 individual consultations for children
  • 25 psychological group sessions

This growth reflects something important: children are not only coming—they are returning, opening up, and engaging more deeply.

Alongside therapeutic work, children and families participated in shared experiences that brought moments of joy and connection: theater performances, cinema outings, a performance of “The Snow Queen” at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, cooking workshops, and family-centered community events.

Moments That Stay With Us
In Kyiv, during the winter intensives, one child quietly captured what these spaces mean:
Why are you so cozy? I always feel so good here,” — 11-year-old Maxim

For many children, this feeling of “cozy” is not something they experience elsewhere. Parents, too, found space to reflect and grow. In groups like “Motherhood from A to Z” and “Parental Space,” they discussed emotions, personal resilience, and how to navigate difficult conversations with their children. Children continued to learn through play and creativity. After a cooking workshop, eight-year-old Danylo said:

“Cooking is not a matter for a hero, but he still has to do it, because he is a hero.”

Reaching Communities Beyond the Center
Support extended into nearby communities, including Bobryk and Myrcha in the Kyiv region. There, psychologists and leisure specialists worked directly with children in schools, holding multiple group sessions for both younger children and teenagers.

What Your Support Makes Possible
Your recurring donation does something powerful: it creates consistency. It ensures that when a child is ready to speak in Kyiv, our psychologists are there to listen. When a parent feels overwhelmed, there is a community to turn to.
And when winter felt heavy, there was still warmth, structure, and care.

Thank you for making this possible. Thank you for showing up, month after month, for children and families who need it most.
