Despite that the milk price keeps increasing dramatically due to inflation, transportation cost, etc...thank to your donations, together with others coming from other donors, we have achieved to buy milk for the people in need a 30% cheaper than the market price so we could buy more and distribute more among them.
In parallel during the last weekend of May 2024 we have set up our spring campaing to collect food from donors in the supermakets, this year with special focus on main staple items whose prices have increase in an unexpected amount during 2024. Thousands of anonymous volunteers participated in this food collection.
The equivalent of 4,372,069 Kgs of food has benn collected and citizens were able to collaborate with direct donations to food banks or by going to participate as volunteers in supermarket chains requesting whether to donate food or contributing financially through the cashiers.
We really appreciate your generous collaboration and encourage you to keep supporting us in the next months because the situation is not improving, on the contrary the number of people and families that need our help.increases every day.; even people that never thought before that they would need to ask for support.
