During the last weekend of May 2025 we have set up our spring campaing to collect food from donors in the supermakets, this year with special focus on main staple items whose prices have kept rising during the beginning of 2025. Thousands of anonymous volunteers participated in this food collection.
The equivalent of 3,496,660 Kgs of food has been collected and citizens were able to collaborate with direct donations to food banks or by going to participate as volunteers in supermarket chains requesting whether to donate food or contributing financially through the cashiers.
Let me remind you that Spanish Food Banks have supported more than 1.000.000 people (200.000 children and infants) not only giving food but also trying to provide the right nutritional balance to the people in need.
But the needs not only exist during the campaing but throughout the year.
We really appreciate your generous collaboration and encourage you to keep supporting us in the next months because the situation is not improving, on the contrary the number of people and families that need our help.increases every day.; even people that never thought before that they would need to ask for support.
