Dear donor,
Greetings from the rainy rainforest, and here’s a big shoutout for being among the very first donors to our remodeled Forest Therapies program!
And we're sending you a million reasons to support us tomorrow, Giving Tuesday.
This year GlobalGiving has $1,200,000 in incentive funding, and every donation raised between 1201 am and 1159 pm on November 29th will go even further!
Over those 24 hours we're aiming to raise $15,000 and all donations will go directly to our programs of reforestation, education and medicinal plants. All part of caring for the forests and forest people.
In our Forest Therapies project we’re participating in a nation-wide inventory of medicinal plants, as well as working to exchange knowledge with local community members on their traditional uses and create simple products for domestic and personal use. Plus we're encouraging rural women to raise their voices and participate in public environmental spaces.
