The project is designed to arouse the interests of female children in Subri for formal education through reading. The project will bring on board all female children who lack the interests for formal education and provide them to have a greater interest in formal education and provide them with the necessary materials which will enable them to have a greater interest in formal education. In view of that, we will provide a modern community library for the Subri community.
The Subri community in Ghana is known to have long suffered from school dropout among female children from the past years. This has resulted in some uninvite problems like teenage pregnancies, drug abuse, child molestations, prostitution, rape, early marriages, and high illiteracy rate among female children in the community. With the poor standard of living of the people in the Subri community, the situation has worsened and requires immediate attention to help reduce lack of formal education
This project aims to target all female children within the subri community, arouse their interest for formal education, award all diligent female children through reading competitions, provide them with their educational needs, and take back every female child who has dropped out of school into the classroom. Through community mobilization, the project will enlighten all female children, parents and guardians, the importance of girl child education, and the dangers behind ignoring it.
There will be higher chances of formal education for all children in the community, as all will benefit from the proposed modern library to be constructed for the people of Subri through this project. 90% of the Subri community will have much knowledge on why there is the need for formal education for children, females especially. In the end, Subri community will be able to produce 3200 capable and competent females who will largely contribute to the sustainable development goals within one year
