Qurbani Meat Distributed to Transgender and Marginalized Communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – Serving 50 Beneficiaries with Dignity
As part of its inclusive Eid-ul-Adha 2025 campaign, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan distributed Qurbani meat to 50 individuals from transgender and other marginalized communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This initiative reflects our commitment to compassion, equity, and social inclusion—ensuring that no one is left behind during moments of joy and community celebration.
Transgender individuals and other vulnerable populations in Pakistan often face widespread social exclusion, economic marginalization, and lack of access to basic rights. Recognizing this, Alkhidmat’s intervention aimed not only to provide physical nourishment through Qurbani meat distribution but also to affirm the dignity and humanity of every recipient.
Supporting Global Goals:
This effort directly supports several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
SDG 1: No Poverty – By reaching out to those who are financially vulnerable and providing food security during a critical time.
SDG 2: Zero Hunger – By ensuring access to nutritious food for those often neglected by mainstream systems.
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – By intentionally including marginalized groups such as the transgender community and promoting social equity.
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – By contributing to better nutrition and well-being during the festive season.
SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions – By promoting inclusivity, respect for human rights, and dignity for all.
A Step Towards Compassionate Inclusion
Through this symbolic yet powerful act of sharing, Alkhidmat aims to create a more inclusive society, one that acknowledges the diversity of its people and supports the most vulnerable. The initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s broader commitment to community development, humanitarian response, and social justice across Pakistan.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our donors, volunteers, and supporters who made this initiative possible. Together, we are building a society where everyone is seen, heard, and cared for
