For the families we serve, food parcels and vouchers mean they can celebrate the month of Ramadan with nutritious iftar and suhoor meals to break and start their fast for the day. But food prices across the region continue to rise along with unemployment and inflation - meaning even more families will be left feeling anxious about how to put food on the table rather than celebrating this year. Your support will help families across Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan celebrate comfortably.
Food insecurity is a year-long struggle for families in Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan. During the month of Ramadan, a time for celebration and joy, we hope to relieve families of any stress over meeting their nutritional needs.
We plan to distribute food assistance to over 10,000 families. This will include distributing food vouchers in Palestine, food parcels that will feed families for 2.5 months in Lebanon, and a combination of hot meals and food vouchers in Jordan.
These programs will feed 10,000 families, support local farmers by using their produce, and employ local woman to cook hot meals to be distributed.
