Hello donors!
Our program in Nepal is moving along very well, we are continuing to make tremendous amounts of progress given the many challenges we face. Monsoon season has started to wind down and we are able to again work to our full capacity. The mobile sites that we had created to combat the problem of inaccessible work areas are still being utilized as it is still a great time-saver and more convenient to work with. These sites will continue to operate and allow volunteers to come through in shifts to help complete the schools All Hands is currently working on.
As mentioned in the previous progress report, All Hands is now working to complete five schools in different villages throughout Nepal, allowing thousands of children the ability to return to normalcy. These five schools are in various stages of completion and volunteers are working to finish these schools as soon as possible.
Our school in Prithvi is currently our biggest, consisting of two 2-story, 4 room buildings. They are both in progress, with the first building’s structure finished and the finishing touches being added, and the second building’s structure is close to completion. At our Bachchhala school location we have one building’s first floor slab completed and the second building has been demolished and rubbled. This site is our second largest and as it has just started will not be done for a few more months. The Kaliyani Devi site is completed and is now being loaded with materials and the test rooms are in progress.
We are able to make the progress that we have been able to thanks to support and donations like yours. Thank you for all of your help, we truly appreciate it!
