Currently 150 students, from 3 to 14 years old, attend the school of Arquata del Tronto, a new safe, eco-compatible and anti-seismic structure.
After the violent earthquake of 2016, the guarantee of having a safe and comfortable school, a fulcrum in family life, has increased the number of people who choose to return to live in Arquata del Tronto.
It was an important contribution to rediscover the daily and working routine. The number of students is therefore expected to grow.
Thanks to your help, in June the building site will start: the gym will be the key place for physical and sports activity, with the aim of improving psychophysical development, individual and social health of young people.
The building also wants to be a place of aggregation and sociality for the entire population of the territory: associations and groups of people can use the structure to organize extra-school activities and sports events. It will also be a large and safe space that can host many people in the case of new disasters.
The goal is to deliver the gym for the start of the new school year, in September 2018.
