SCHOOL BAGS FOR YEMENI STREET CHILDREN

A Success Story and Call for Continued Support

Dear GlobalGiving Donors and Supporters,

I hope you are all well and in good health. Schools are open in Yemen. The Support Yemeni Society Organization's Team is working day and night to provide necessary school supplies for 150 poor Yemeni Street Children to encourage them to return to school and continue their education. The SYS Team with your generous support, conducted a back-to-school campaign to encourage Yemeni street children to go back to school. They distributed school supplies such as school bags, pens, notebooks, color pens, and umbrellas.

Success Story

Guban, a 14-year-old Yemeni boy, faced many challenges early in life. He left school at 11 and began selling bottles of water on the streets of Sana’a to support his family. Life was tough, and the future seemed uncertain. However, everything changed when Guban became part of our humanitarian project, “Rehabilitate 150 Poor Street Children in Yemen. The SYS Team contacted him and offered him a chance to return to school. With their support, Guban’s life took a positive turn. It was a turning point in his life. Back in the classroom, Guban rediscovered his love for learning. He made new friends, gained confidence, and started to dream again. The project not only provided him with education but also with hope and a sense of belonging. Today, Guban is a shining example of resilience and determination. He is excelling in his studies and aspires to become an engineer one day so he can build his country in the future. His story is a testament to the transformative power of education and the impact of humanitarian efforts. Guban’s journey from the streets of Sana’a to the schoolroom is a powerful reminder that with the right support, every child has the potential to succeed.

Dear Generous Donors,

I take this opportunity to warmly invite you to consider initiatingmonthly donation towards our project. Even a modest contribution of a few dollars per month can create a lasting impact. By doing so, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and sustainability of our efforts. One last thing—sharing our project with your friends and family helps us spread the word about our work and continue to grow our community of supporters like you. If you’re willing to share the story of our work with your network, we’d be incredibly grateful.
