Thousands of Nigerian youth are trapped in drug abuse, cultism, gang violence, robbery, and sexual exploitation. Many have lost their education, health, and lives to addiction and crime. This project will rehabilitate 1,500 youth through counseling, drug treatment, vocational training, and mentorship, helping them recover from addiction and build safe, income-generating paths away from drugs and violence.
Drug abuse is destroying the lives of thousands of Nigerian youth. Many are drawn into cultism, gang activities, robbery, and sexual exploitation while addicted. Addiction leads to school dropout, health complications, and violent deaths. Communities face increased crime, insecurity, and loss of potential as young people who could contribute positively instead become trapped in cycles of abuse and destruction.
The project will identify 1,500 drug-addicted youth and enroll them in structured rehabilitation. Services will include counseling, medical care, and vocational training. Participants will learn trades such as tailoring, catering, and soap making to help them earn income legally. Continuous mentorship will guide them toward stable lifestyles free from addiction, reducing crime and improving community safety.
Rehabilitated youth can return to their communities as productive members, running small businesses and avoiding criminal activities. This will improve safety, reduce drug use, and inspire others to leave harmful lifestyles. Families will regain their loved ones, communities will experience less crime, and local economies will benefit from the creation of small enterprises and restored human potential.
