A trickle of donations...?

Dear supporters,

The need for a reliable water source in Terrat is more significant than ever, especially in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The dry season was extremely challenging this year, with a huge number of cattle dying due to droughts, which threatens the livelihoods of the local Maasai community. Donations have been equally as dry, but we hope that they will come trickling in again this quarter.

This borehole has the potential to be highly impactful for a number of people in the community, as it is conveniently located next to both the local health centre and school in Terrat, hence it will reap benefits for a multiple of groups within the community. For the school, it will provide essential sanitation for the pupils and staff, as well as a source of safe drinking water. In addition, it will transform the functionality of the health centre, which already supports more than 20,000 people in the surrounding area.

We still have a long way to go to reach our fundraising target, so please share this project within your personal network and on your social media channel to rally more support and donations for this vitally important project.

Your donations will be greatly appreciated by us and the community in Terrat. We hope to give updates on more progress in the next quarter, and to soon get started with the rehabilitation once enough donations come through. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far!

All the best,

Iona
