Dear Friends,
The end of the rainy season has come at long last, bringing with it the mixed blessings of easier access to sites, so that we can continue our work in providing clean water, and the increasing water scarcity that comes with the dry season. It is a reminder of the importance of our work in providing year-round access to clean and accessible water for the community, made possible through your continued generosity.
We have recently started on a project to solarise a current out-of-use borehole in Orkesmet, Terrat region. Work will start as soon as we can order in the necessary solar panels! We look forward to updating you on this exciting aspect of our work when the time comes and adding to the number of functional boreholes in the region.
We thank those of you who have supported this critical cause over the past quarter, and - as ever - if you are able to share this project with friends and relations, we and the population of Terrat Village in Northern Tanzania would be extremely grateful.
Kirsten and the SVRG Team.
