When huge floods devasted Chennai in December 2015 many helps came frm Friends through GlobalGiving. Relief supplies were given to families of daily wage workers living on the streets and in the river banks. Rehablitation services continued with your help.
New supports during June - September 2017 are given to 150 school Children with Note Books and Water Bottles. They wanted also tiffin boxes. We explained to them that amount was not sufficient to get tiffin boxes. We also told them that many Children wanted guide books for preparing for exams. We assured them that we will place such appeals to friends helping them through GlobalGiving.
You have extended great helps for around 21 months now. With your help we have supported maximum number of flood affected families living on the road sides and on the river banks. Some of the women want tailoring machines to stitch Children and Women garments and earn additional incomes for their resource poor families. More school Children want educational supports. We appeal to you for your help and cooperation through GlobalGiving.
