Emergency Relief for Disaster Affected Families

We are proud to present our milestones report for the year 2024, marking 32 years of dedicated service to the marginalized communities in India. Our efforts have been focused on empowering women, promoting education, sustainable livelihoods, and addressing various social and environmental issues.

Women Empowerment !!

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) has been working tirelessly to empower rural and marginalized women, girls, and children. Through various initiatives, including Self Help Groups, Her Voice: Stop Violence Against Women, and Lifeskills Entrepreneurship & Leadership Training, RSKS India reached around 35,000 beneficiaries. These initiatives aimed to promote economic empowerment, social justice, and human rights. RSKS India provided training, capacity building, and support to women, enabling them to become agents of change in their communities.

Education !!

RSKS India's education initiatives, including Pathshala Schools, ROSHNI, and the Education for Every Girl project, benefited around 3,110 rural intelligent school girls. These programs focused on promoting girls' education, reducing dropout rates, and improving academic performance. RSKS India provided scholarships, educational materials, and support to girls from marginalized communities, enabling them to pursue their educational goals.

Sustainable Livelihood !!

Through Vocational Educational Skill Schools, RSKS India provided training in sewing, bag making, beautician skills, and garment making to around 200 rural and marginalized young women and girls. These initiatives aimed to promote economic empowerment, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods. RSKS India provided training, capacity building, and support to women, enabling them to become economically independent.

Disability !!

RSKS India's Empowering People Living With Disabilities Project supported around 35 people living with disabilities, children living with disabilities, and their families. The project provided support in the sectors of health, education, livelihood, social, and empowerment. RSKS India worked to promote inclusive development, social justice, and human rights for people with disabilities.

Child Rights & Welfare !!

Through Make A Wish project, RSKS India reached around 700 slum and street children. The project provided new clothes, moral values education, yoga, and balanced diet awareness. Children were also able to celebrate festivals like Christmas, Dussehra, Diwali, and Holi. RSKS India worked to promote child rights, welfare, and development, ensuring that children from marginalized communities have access to education, healthcare, and protection.

Disaster Relief !!

After &  During the Biporjoy Cyclone, RSKS India supported around 1440 families with Ration/Grocery Kit Relief, providing food security. Additionally, 650 slum and street families received tarpaulin and shelter relief to protect themselves from the devastating cyclone. RSKS India worked to provide immediate relief and support to affected communities, promoting disaster risk reduction and management.

Agriculture & Livestock !!

RSKS India's initiatives in agriculture promotion and adoption benefited around 350 rural self-help group women, marginal farmers, and women farmers. The project provided education and training on kitchen gardens, modern agriculture techniques, and cattle farming. RSKS India also provided necessary materials for farming, such as seeds and fertilizers, promoting sustainable agriculture practices and improving livelihoods.

Environment & Sanitation !!

RSKS India planted around 1500 fruitful and shady trees, installed 350 Sparrow Bird Houses, Water Feeders, and Bird Feeders. The project benefited around 3000 school children, teachers, rural people, marginal farmers, women farmers, and bird lovers. RSKS India also conducted awareness programs on cleanliness and environment at various rural schools, educating approximately 450 children about the importance of environment and cleanliness.

Social Days & Campaign !!

RSKS India celebrated social days with around 2350 people, including slum and street children, rural people, RSKS trainees, and Pathshala School girl children. The project aimed to raise awareness about social causes and promote social justice.

Health !!

RSKS India worked to promote better health for society, benefiting approximately 2800 slum and street families, rural girls, Tuberculosis patients, rural women, and school children. The project focused on habit change, nutrition, food, hygiene, safe drinking water, and shelter relief. RSKS India provided support to marginalized communities, promoting health and well-being.

We are grateful for the support of our donors, partners, and volunteers, who have enabled us to make a positive impact in the lives of thousands of people. We look forward to continuing our work towards creating a more equitable and sustainable society.

Warm Greetings from RSKS India Family!!

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan recently hosted a group of students from NDMVP Samaj's College of Social Work, Nashik, Maharastra. The students visited the RSKS India office to learn about the organization's impactful work at the grassroots level. The RSKS team welcomed the students and their teacher with a traditional garlanding ceremony. Following the welcome, the team members engaged with the students in a discussion about the challenges faced by marginalized communities and the interventions RSKS India has implemented to address these issues.

To provide a hands-on learning experience, RSKS India organized a community mobilization workshop with the students. This interactive session enabled the students to understand the importance of community mobilization in bringing about social change. Additionally, RSKS India organized a "My Selfie Competition" with the students, which encouraged them to express their thoughts and ideas about ending social evils through beautiful paintings. After this, all the children and RSKS team members had snacks and tea together.

The visit and interactive sessions with the students from NDMVP Samaj's College of Social Work, Nashik, had a profound impact on all parties involved. The students gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by marginalized communities and the importance of grassroots-level interventions. They also developed a deeper understanding of community mobilization and its role in bringing about social change.

The RSKS India team benefited from the fresh perspectives and ideas brought by the students. The team members were also encouraged by the enthusiasm and energy of the students, which reinforced their commitment to creating positive social change. The community mobilization workshop and "My Selfie Competition" helped to foster a sense of social responsibility among the students, encouraging them to become active agents of change in their own communities.

Overall, the visit was a resounding success, providing a unique opportunity for knowledge sharing, skill building, and community engagement.
