Supporters Like You Are Essential To Our Work

Providing water and shade in the hotter weather
Providing water and shade in the hotter weather

Things are getting hotter here now as we head into the summer - we are already in the mid 30 degrees! New fans are being put up around the hospital complex (to replace old, broken ones), coolers are being serviced and the outside water tanks for the dogs are being repaired to make sure that everyone stays as cool as possible.

Thankfully puppy season is coming to an end but of course with the hot weather we will start to see more animals in 'collapsed state' due to the additional stress of the heat on weak bodies. The stress of the hot weather also tends to weaken immune systems so animals that had been successfully fighting off diseases can no longer fight effectively and become ill.  Each season here brings different challenges!

We recently treated a sterrt dog with a tumour on his leg, our vets surgically removed it and fortunately found it to be non-cancerous.

TOLFA relies on donations from supporters like you to help us continue our work rescuing India's street animals in need.

We are very grateful. Thank you
