Bestowing Hope: You Empower Our Communities!

By Zinyengo Kawonga | Co-founder/Director

Happy New Year our dearest supporters,

We sincerely thank you for your continued support of our programs. Your generosity has had a meaningful and measurable impact on our community, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership.

In the past year, we recorded a 98.12% pass rate among Standard 8 students in their national examinations, which was a significant improvement compared to previous years before the implementation of the School Feeding Program (SFP). This year, we continue to provide meals to at least 500 learners every week and successfully retained 100% of registered students, with zero dropouts. These outcomes reflect the stability and encouragement your support provides to our learners, enabling them to attend school consistently and perform better in class.

We are also pleased to share that we received USD 5,000 from our dedicated partner, GlobalGiving, as a flexible fund to support community-led initiatives. Prior to this support, we received applications from the community requesting assistance with the construction of teachers’ houses at Chitende Primary School and classrooms at Luromo Community Secondary School. The GlobalGiving fund will enable us to support these critical infrastructure projects, further strengthening access to quality education in our community.

Once again, we thank you for your generosity and continued belief in our work. You are the hope of our community, and through your support, the light continues to shine.
