Please forgive me for not updating in greater detail. As we were ready to begin working in Syria, sanctions were implemented with greater severity and we were held back from launching relief.
We have recently been offered the exception needed to send the much-needed relief into the area.
Very few humanitarian aid organizations are present, but must receive this exception letter to legally serve.This process can take several weeks or months. Our letter arrived this week.
Please know we are now present and have received funding from other sources, as well as through GlobalGiving to begin moving forward.
