The local villagers from Genglaotun, Zhenyi carried out the maintenance work at tree nursery. They weeded and put the seedlings into containers in the nursery. Because it was rainy season, weeding was necessary for the seedlings' growth in the nursery beds. The villagers have completed all the weeding work. In addition, they built a shelter as sunshade to prevent saplings from direct sunlight. They also mixed nutrient soil in the containers for bagging. In June, over 680 seedlings were put in the containers for further nurturing. After the maintainance, it's found out that Rendou and Chinese jujube grew extremely well compared to other species. The maintaince and monitoring work will be continued.
