WE FRAME OUR PROJECT WITHIN:
1.SPORT FOR DEVELOPEMENT AND A CULTUTE OF PEACE
We intentionally use sport, physical activity, and play to achieve social and peacebuilding goals, such as improving health, inclusion, education, and community resilience.
Sport is a tool recognized by the UN for fostering positive social change and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
2.SPORT FOR PROTECTION
This approach, promoted by UNHCR and the IOC, recognizes the unique ability of sport to actively engage forcibly displaced adolescents and young people, promoting social inclusion, community cohesion and psychosocial well-being through safe, structured and accessible sporting activities.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Most participants are adolescents and young adults between the ages of 16 and 25, primarily migrants, refugees, or those experiencing homelessness, who live through situations marked by economic hardship, administrative instability, and a lack of support networks. Young people from sub-Saharan Africa and the Maghreb predominate, along with a growing presence of young people from Latin America, many of whom are undocumented or in the process of seeking asylum.
A significant proportion have low levels of education, difficulties accessing the labor market, and precarious housing situations—factors that increase the risk of social exclusion and directly affect their emotional well-being and future opportunities. This is compounded by frequent experiences of racism, discrimination, and human rights violations, which hinder their integration and social participation.
While young migrant women represent a smaller percentage of participants in the projects, they constitute a particularly vulnerable group. They often face greater barriers to accessing sport and public space, as well as situations of multiple discrimination, invisibility and risk of sexist violence.
SOME FIGURES FOR 2025
264 people at risk of social exclusion
More than 4400 assistances
More than 260 training sessions and socio-sports workshops carried out
More than 650 Visitors, attendees of training sessions and talks
Thank you, without your support all of this would not be possible!
