Dear contributors,
Looking at the heading, you must be wondering why the number five. This is because good things at RCS often occurred with the number five.
Let's start with RCS Cheras. It has five classes. The five classes (1 kindergarten and 4 primary classes ) proved to be an arrangement that suits RCS Cheras' physical capacity of a 3 levels shop lot and development of 80 to 90 students. So far, the five-classes arrangement is the sweet spot balancing our physical capacity and students' development.
RCS Kedah was also established on the 10th year of RCS's establishment, a multiply of 5. It was an eventful 5 years journey with the COVID-19 pandemic during 2nd year of RCS Kedah's operation. The pandemic has caused an immeasurable learning loss that prompted the teachers to initiate a remedial learning program. A program that received support from our funding partner, Hasanah Foundation. This year marked 2nd year of implementation of the Post-Covid-19 Recovery Learning Programme.
Thus, we believe five is RCS's lucky number, be it five classes or five years. This year marks the 15th year of RCS's establishment. We are still going strong in our 15th year of operation. Regardless of the numbers, we hope that RCS always receives your steadfast support, our contributors.
Here's hoping,
Five classes or five years, RCS will always be here.
Eternally thankful,
Wan Nur Alia
