Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in protecting vulnerable mothers during childbirth in rural Nigeria. Your compassion brings hope to women who face delivery with limited medical support and unsafe conditions.
Across many rural communities, expectant mothers give birth at home without trained attendants or sterile supplies. Long travel distances, high hospital costs, and lack of equipment make childbirth dangerous. Preventable deaths from bleeding, infection, and poor hygiene remain common. This project will provide safe birth kits containing sterile gloves, delivery blades, baby wraps, and maternal supplements. We will train midwives and birth attendants on safe delivery practices and emergency response. Pregnant women will also receive prenatal education and basic screenings to identify risks early.
At present, no donations have been received, and funding is required before distribution of kits and training can begin. We kindly invite you to support or share this initiative so mothers and newborns can experience safer deliveries.
With sincere appreciation,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
