Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank the donor who has supported the Safe Shelter for Nigerian LGBTQI+ Under Attack project. Your compassion toward individuals facing danger and displacement is truly appreciated. However, the contributions received so far are still not enough to begin the shelter and support services planned for this project.
Across different communities, individuals at risk continue to face unsafe living conditions, rejection, and limited access to care. Many are left without shelter, medical support, or guidance during critical moments.
Without safe spaces, those affected remain exposed to harm and struggle to find basic protection. Access to healthcare and emotional support is also limited, making recovery and stability difficult.
This project is designed to provide secure shelter, medical care, counseling, and legal support for individuals in urgent need of protection. It aims to create a safe environment where they can receive care and begin to rebuild their lives.
With proper support, beneficiaries can find safety, regain stability, and access the help they need to move forward.
We are grateful for the support already shown toward this effort. With additional contributions, it will be possible to begin providing shelter and care for those who urgently need it.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
