An attempt to augment our ongoing covid relief effort was made triumphant by the spirit of collaboration, when Amazon and Give India joined forces with Team ACT to fund one of our biggest distribution drives, yet.
The extended reach was facilitated and spearheaded by a constellation of volunteers comprising our own senior students as well as ACT staff. This labour of love was uninterrupted and a chance for all those involved to pay it forward, sporting smiles on their faces throughout the process.
We are exceedingly grateful to announce that a total of 600 families benefited from the endeavour! Each family received a provision kit which was sumptuous and contained generous portions of rations, including Rice (25 kgs), Wheat flour (2 kgs), Sooji (2 kgs), Toor dal (2 kgs), Sugar (2 kgs), Salt (2 kgs), Oil (4 ltrs), Tamarind (500 gms), Chilli powder (200 gms), Dhaniya powder (200 gms), Turmeric powder (200 gms) and Jeera (100 gms). Additionally, each kit contained Lifebuoy soap (6 bars) and Active wheel detergent (1 bar).
ACT remains entirely appreciative of, earnestly thankful to and benevolently content with the out-turn of this effort and all those responsible for it.
