The death of the newly born twins Qais and Laith would have been definite had it not been for the early intervention. Fortunately, the two babies were brought while they were struggling to survive after the Turkish border administration had refused to transfer them given the seriousness of the situation and the possibility that they might die on the way.
The newborns were suffering from respiratory distress and extreme prematurity, so we started to race time to rescue them in the first critical hours of their life, and we successfully accomplished that.
