Respected Donor Namaste!!

Warm Greeting from RSKS India !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Sparrow, whose sweet chirping made the environment melodious has almost become extinct. The beautiful bird had its habitat in our houses earlier, but now we observe a different situation where we don't find a sparrow in our surroundings. Sparrow is at the edge of extinction as its population is decreasing rapidly and there are some regions where it has become extinct. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been successfully working for the conservation of sparrow for years. The organization has installed eco-friendly nests for the rehabilitation of sparrow in the extincted regions.

In order to this, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized a workshop for the conservation of sparrow. Students, youth and common people were interested to attend the workshop and they did so. In the workshop, our activists explained the close relationship of sparrow and nature along with the significance of the friendship of sparrow and human beings. The major concers is the decreasing population of sparrow which was discussed in the workshop and ways to conserve it were suggested. We made an appeal from people to install nests in their surroundings so that sparrow may rehabilitate and multiply. The audience was sworn to put efforts to save sparrow on their level.

Kailash, who attended the last workshop organized by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, has taken a unique initiative. Kesargunj is one of the densly populated region in Ajmer city where sparrow had become extinct due to pollution and plethora of mobile towers and high density of population snatched the habitat of sparrow. Being inspired from the workshop, Kailash started installing nests at different places in Kesargunj as temples, homes, trees. After a short period of time, sparrow rehabilitated in these nests and now its populations has increased in the region. The surroundings are echoed with the melodious chirping of sparrow. Kailash thanks GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.
