Summary

10 beautiful zebra are currently being sold and are at risk. Help us relocate them to a safe Haven in Environs of Isimagaliso World Natural Heritage Site, Zululand, so that they can join fellow zebras Stripy and Tammy. These 2 zebra need a larger structured herd for better protection. Two young females and a male will be relocated to Suni-Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary and 7 to Khumbula Wildlife Sanctuary. Their security will be monitored and they will never be at risk or be sold again.

Challenge

Zebra are facing unprecedented impact in Africa through poaching and hunting. When they are traded they are often at risk of being sold for hunting for trophies, or for their skins. They are also illegally poached for bush meat trade.

Solution

We will relocate a herd of 10 zebra that are being sold, to a safe haven and new forever home where they will be cared for with compassion and be assured of good security. They will never be sold again.

Long-Term Impact

The 10 zebra that are at risk will be saved from being traded and hunted and will be moved to safe forever homes in two wildlife sanctuaries. New young will be born that will then also enjoy protection. These zebra will all be ensured of protection and thus reduce the impact on the species.
