Alkesh is just three years old - and your support helped change his life.
From a remote tribal village in southern Rajasthan, Alkesh was severely undernourished and frequently ill. With limited income and awareness his parents struggled to provide adequate food and care. His health was rapidly declining.
Through Seva Mandir’s Positive Deviance (PD) Hearth programme, Alkesh’s mother learned to prepare simple, nutritious meals using locally available foods and improved feeding and hygiene practices at home.
The impact was powerful. In just two months, Alkesh’s weight increased from 10.2 kg to 13.9 kg. Today, he is healthier, active, and thriving. Despite limited resources, his mother now grows vegetables at home and ensures Alkesh’s meals include nourishing foods like jaggery and peanuts.
Thank you for making lifesaving change possible. Together, we can help many more children survive, grow, and dream. Donate today to help more children like Alkesh receive lifesaving nutrition and a healthy start to life. Every contribution counts.
