Perros sin nombre is working on getting our own shelter, We are looking to dignify the life of stray dogs in the Port of Tela-Honduras, small town with more that 10000 stray dogs. Our organization look for solutions through the implementation of comprehensive programs of population control, with campaigns of spay/neuter, medical help to those most in need, vaccination, and adoption responsible.
The port of the city Tela-Honduras does not have a public shelter or government infrastructure to help to solve the problem the overpopulation; more the 7000 stray dogs wander a long the city, the lack of financial aid, and the lack of education regarding street animals made us to created PERROS SIN NOMBRE, since 2018 FPSN has rescued, recovered, fed, and put up for adoption more the 100 dogs. Now we need to get our own shelter, where we can rescue and recovery more stray dogs.
Offer solutions that help combat the problem of population and mistreatment of stray animals, treating them as a health problem and public coexistence, promoting the adoptions of rescued and recovered animals from abandonment, carrying them forward in the systematic form of massive sterilization campaigns in dogs such as the only statistically proven method that is both efficient and ethical and cruelty free to dal with the high street population. Also promote educational work with communities.
It is to be recognized as generators of a change to be a society responsible for contributing to the welfare of the stray animals and reducing the overpopulation of the same. All under the same objective can make the voiceless hear.
