Last year's Sindh floods are over, although the impact to so many lives can never be underestimated. Thank you for your contribution to this important cause.
We hope 2021 won't bring another flood of rains, but sadly the infrastructure in the province is still not resilient enough to handle heavy rains.
When the rains come, not only are the roads flooded, but houses, and buildings. Due to electrical wiring, people can and some actually have been electrocuted. Many lose just previous mementos and other belongings in their basements, but others, even have their less resilient homes or simple habitats collapse from water damage.
There are also flies and malaria carrying mosquitoes that flock to these areas.
We can never thank you enough for your generous contribution and help in this project. God bless.
