Train 5,000 Unemployed Graduates in Nigeria

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for supporting this project to provide practical skills training to 5,000 unemployed graduates in Nigeria. Your support helps equip young people with digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and vocational skills, along with mentorship and seed grants to start small businesses or secure employment.

With unemployment among graduates exceeding 70%, many young people struggle to find opportunities that match their education. Without practical skills, they face financial hardship, underemployment, and limited ability to contribute to their communities. Immediate support is needed to help graduates gain tools to improve their livelihoods.

This project offers hands-on training, guided mentorship, and seed grants, enabling participants to build businesses, access jobs, and apply their knowledge effectively. By combining practical skills with tangible support, graduates gain the confidence and resources to create sustainable income.

Over time, graduates will become productive members of their communities, starting businesses, generating jobs, and boosting local economies. The program also sets a scalable model for skills development that can reduce youth unemployment and strengthen social and economic outcomes in Nigeria.

At this stage, donations received are not sufficient to launch the program, but with your continued support, we can empower graduates to transform their futures and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
