In the period from May 2020 to December 2022 164 women and girls in Quito received advice on rigths and how to demand them, in order to live a life free of violence.
Idea Dignidad abrió 27 nuevos expedientes y desarrolló 33 actores de tutela judicial. A las 67 mujeres se les acompañó psicoterapéuticamente para poder recuperarse emocionalmente de los daños causados por la violencia
These figures are important because these women and girls do not easily find other spaces for specialized care in violence, since there are very few organizations with this capacity and the Ecuadorian State has decreased its resources for care.
Additionally, in this month of March we trained 73 professionals of the protection system of the city of Tulcán so that they can include within their care processes, the human rights approach and person-centered care.
We hope to contribute with these actions to improve women's opportunities to get out of the cycles of violence that affect them. Thank you for supporting us.
