The floods in South Sudan have caused widespread displacement, destroyed homes, and disrupted livelihoods. The humanitarian crisis has been exacerbated by ongoing ethnic-based internal conflict, poverty, an increasing influx of refugees from Sudan, and food insecurity. Many children and women are particularly vulnerable. Community-based organizations are assisting, but they lack the resources to respond to the emergency.
